Hotel Versailles

My wife and I stayed here when the Hotel Versailles first opened. We got dinner at their restaurant and then went to our rooms. It was great there was a mini fridge as well as a snack basket that had anything you could think of in it. Everything was well priced. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a great place to stay.

had an amazing stay at Hotel Versailles. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, and the shower was one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. The atmosphere throughout the property felt modern yet welcoming. The bar downstairs was a great spot to unwind, offering an excellent selection and a lively but relaxed vibe. The real highlight, though, was The Silas restaurant. The food was absolutely to die for, with creative flavors and top-notch service that made every meal memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Versailles. Between the luxury accommodations, fantastic dining, and great amenities, it’s a five-star experience all around.

Wonderful visit for the second time. Everything is very nice here. Great restaurant and super nice staff. The server / bartender Kyle, was happy and fun. Chanda was helpful and very friendly. Will be back for year next July!

Versailles, Ohio is a quintessential small town. It’s clean surroundings and homey buildings are easy to miss if you’re passing through town. Hotel Versailles is an outlier here. Its sleek lines and modern structure stand out among the modest buildings that surround it. Every inch of its interior and exterior are detailed in lavish sophistication. We stayed in the Spa Suite- a beautiful, spacious room with a deep soaking tub perfect for relaxing. Snacks, drinks and card games are within easy reach, tempting you from their station on the oversized desk (for a charge, of course). We skipped slipping into our robes and ordering room service and went down to the hotel bar instead. The bar offers a number of handcrafted cocktails, I was so conflicted about which to order that I told the bartender I would just go down the list- and she happily obliged. Dinner hadn’t quite started yet so we ordered food from a limited lunch menu and made friends with the bar patrons. After all, it’s still a small town and everyone around is incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, due to my overly enthusiastic cocktail buffet, I didn’t make it to dinner. Luckily, I had a gorgeous room to stumble back to, and when I woke up, the minibar snacks and drinks truly saved my night. I absolutely think you get great value for the price of a stay here. You get the sophistication of a luxury hotel without the steep price and pretentiousness that you’d find at a similar hotel in a bigger city. I can’t wait to return!

We visited for one night with 4 friends. Wow, what a revelation! Versailles Ohio has an absolute gem! The hotel is very well appointed and so attractive. All the staff we interacted with were just delightful. The rooms were new, comfortable and calming. The food… we had dinner and breakfast there and both were superb. I had the salmon dish and my wife enjoyed the scallops. Every item was cooked perfectly and packed with unique flavor. The menu is not huge which I think allows them to prepare the dishes perfectly and they sure do. Breakfast was equally fabulous. Finally, I have to add that the value of both the lodging and dining was absolutely outstanding. If you have never been here, do yourself a favor and GO!

Hard to believe this type of hotel is nestled in the middle of quint small towns of Ohio. Modern, stylish, with PHENOMENAL restaurant !!! Soft robes, sound machine, snack and drinks bar- all these little details bring a feeling of a resort ! Forget chain hotels - this place is a real treat!

While a much much better experience than last year, there were still a few concerns. The building is a distinctively attractive place. The lobby is small but nice. The lobby leads to a spacious and modern furnished restaurant and bar. The rooms are aesthetically pleasing, functional and comfortable. They did a great job of keeping the outside noises out, but still some noise from the area above, although not that loud. We saw no benefit to the soaking tub, "Spa room" that we had last year (that did not work, hotel deducted about $20, then reapplied about a week later?), so we opted for the standard room that was very similar. Still some concerns getting a simple room key card that works after multiple tries, that our friends experienced this time. Communications with the hotel staff seemed much improved, as were some of the room concerns. Overall this is becoming a nice hotel, but compared to say the Hotel LeVeque that has similarities, and was voted most beautiful hotel in Ohio by Architectural Digest, Hotel Versailles is priced higher per night. Edit: We have been staying at this hotel for many years, and since the rebuild in2022, so this review covers several years, and may be why the Director is mistaken. This is the first time he has contacted me concerning this matter, and the first time the hotel has even acknowledged my review here. This is a poor way to discuss this. The non-operating soak spa was in 2022, and my records shows additional charges occurring in 2022, 2024 and 2025. The 2025 additional charge was promptly removed after I contacted them.

Holy moly where to begin! I’m writing this from the spa suite bed and I couldn’t be happier or more relaxed. I’ve stayed in a lot of bigger, fancier hotels, and I can honestly say this is by far the nicest I’ve been in. The place is boutique quaint with big city vibes and architecture; and in a small town in rural OH no less! The room is beyond beautiful, and I mean down to the paint job. Sounds crazy, but I do interior design as a side gig and this place even has straight paint lines. The crown moulding is fantastically done as well. The bathrooms and hallways are clean and extremely well kept. The hotel staff was kind enough to make my spa night here wonderful. Room is very quiet and spacious. Now the food is so good I’m going to leave a review for them as well on that Google page, but holy crap it’s amazing. I don’t eat seed oils or lots of preservatives and fake things, and this restaurant truly delivered some amazing farm to table food. The drinks are also a highlight.
